Hold Sizing
In our current paper catalog, you may have noticed that we are using a sizing scale that is different from what we have done in the past. While our paper catalog has a size denoted next to each hold within the set to help you understand the relative size of each hold, our online catalog simply shows the set with a carabiner for size reference.
This should be used to understand the overall size of each hold within the set as the holds relate to each other. This sizing scale from our paper catalog is denoted below:
MS = Micros Small
MM = Micros Medium
ML = Micros Large
S = Small
M = Medium
L = Large
XL = Extra Large
XXL = Double Extra Large
Please Note: The Extreme Holds are sized to scale with one another in our paper catalog. On our website, we’ve pictured a carabiner with each hold so the reference to the hold size can be drawn from the carabiner size.
Many companies put a reference to the difficulty of a hold in addition to its size. We don’t do this because depending on the angle of the wall that you mount the hold to, the handhold is going to range in difficulty.
